「跨國教師」、「交換學者」，是我們申請出國的憑藉，卻不是我們家做此大變動的理由。唯一的理由必須是「是主」！
尤其一看外面環境，無論氣候、經濟或孩子的教育問題，甚至召會生活的光景，每一項都令人裹足！因此，我需要跟身體交通，好確認元首基督的帶領。
生活方面，琪兒說：「You should follow the peace of Christ within you.......The living cost there is more affordable than both coasts. It has beautiful scenery (10 thousand lakes!) and open space. The only thing that you need to adjust is the cold winter. 」
召會生活方面，兄長的勸勉是：「The church needs some new blood in gospel and shepherding after the turmoil. The winter is cold. MSW has burden to go there to have a gospel....... Hope with your family added to them, we can have a gospel forum this fall.」
從張弟兄問到了明尼蘇達召會的劉弟兄家電話。劉姊妹說：「We are very thankful that the Lord is sending two couples to Minnesota to strengthen our labor here.......Minnesota's winter can be very cold - 30-40- C below zero.」
經過這兩天的聯繫，弟兄姊妹溫馨的回應，在在讓我感動，也得到很多鼓勵。當得知台大教授林太家弟兄一家也將在八月前去明大做研究，我們兩家都覺得有配搭、有同伴的感覺，真好！
明尼蘇達大學是中西部的名校，據說湖泊很多，有人稱之為千湖之洲。希望這種「境教」給我們更寬廣的心胸和懷抱。
孩子的教育問題，不論此去一年或兩年，我都有心理準備，可以讓孩子降級讀書。對於這個出國遊學的機會，孩子們都很能接受，也很期待。如果是國小的中低年級就不必降級，如果是國中階段，那麼英語課當然會跟不上，其他的可以看他們的適應狀況來作決定。
同事們都覺得不可思議，但事到如今，我覺得主有開路。現在就等公文、辦簽證、打包行李了！往前還有許多要解決的問題，就一步一步仰望主了！

Brother Hao first mentioned a little bit of the turmoil of the church life but he hope I can get more details about the university's title from you that he can search more current situation for you. One thing about Grade 8 student(Enoch) that he can get some English support from English Second Language Program and still keep the same Grade 8 courses. You can evaluate until you get more details from the Elementary School there. Then you will make much more accurate decision for him. Lord's abundant grace be with you all! Tsun Huan
